ABC Bank hosts students during Global Money Week – 24th March

On 24th March 2023, ABC Bank participated in the Global Money Week (GMW) campaign, an annual financial literacy campaign organized by the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) and the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), by hosting differently abled students from various Universities and TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) institutions in Kenya.

This campaign was aimed at raising awareness and promoting financial literacy among young people and it ran from 20th to 26th March 2023, with the theme ‘Plan Your Money, Plan Your Future’, and with a focus on the people living with disability (PWD).

It started with ABC Bank staff being taken through the etiquette of handling people with different impairments during the week by the Light for the World, an organization that deals with the people with Disability, who were also the main coordinators of this campaign.

It was an interactive whole day session with representatives from different departments sharing their financial knowledge and career growth with the students.

As ABC Bank family, let’s continue cheering on people who are differently abled in our community because disability is not inability!
