ABC Bank’s victory at the 2022 Champions of Governance Awards

African Banking Corporation (ABC Bank) was awarded 1st runners up – Finance and Investment category during the Champions of Governance Awards ceremony organized by the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) held on Friday, 2nd December, 2022.

“As ABC Bank, we are honoured to be recognized for our consistency in upholding best practices of good governance yet again. This is the 7th year we have participated and won in the Champions of Governance Awards since its inauguration in 2010.

“This feat is a testimony of the Bank’s commitment to apply good governance principles and practices, embracing innovation and emerging knowledge in the field of corporate governance,” Group Managing Director Shamaz Savani said.

The Champions of Governance Awards celebrates organizations and individuals that exhibit the highest standards of good governance practices, in line with ICPSK’s mission “To embed good governance practices that transform institutions and inspire professionals in order to be the premier centre of excellence in governance promotion and development in Africa”.
