A team from the TRM Branch of ABC Bank recently conducted a corporate social responsibility (CSR) visit to the Messianic Hope Children’s Home in Kikopey, Gilgil. The initiative aimed to support and engage with the children residing at the home.
The Messianic Hope Children’s Home, operated by Bishop Peter Kihara under the auspices of Messianic Hope International, offers a secure and nurturing environment for vulnerable children, including those from destitute families, orphans, and children affected by domestic violence.
The visit also strengthened the existing two-year relationship between ABC Bank and Messianic Hope International, whose accounts and SACCO are maintained with the bank, and has also been a valuable source of client referrals, including from its membership.
The TRM Branch delegation was led by Joseph Maigwa, Branch Manager, and included Erustus Karanja, Relationship Manager, and Alice, Assistant Relationship Manager.
Reflecting on the experience, Mr. Joseph Maigwa, Branch Manager at TRM, stated, “Our time at the home was profoundly moving. It was a powerful reminder that true impact is measured not just in material support, but in the spirit of giving. We were deeply encouraged by the resilience and joy exhibited by the children, and we are proud to support the vital work Messianic Hope International does.”
Messianic Hope International runs additional children’s home facilities in Nairobi and Ruiru. ABC Bank is committed to supporting the organisation’s mission and journey through continued partnership.
