ABC Bank reaffirmed its commitment to community partnership by participating in the Diocese of Meru’s annual Family Day event on Saturday, August 16. The event, designed to mobilise support for diocesan programs, brought together parish members and families, clergy, and local business partners.
The Meru Branch team, led by Relationship Manager Peter Gikunda, represented the bank at the gathering, which served as a key initiative for the Diocese to raise funds for its various community and faith-based programs.
Speaking on the bank’s participation, Mr. Peter Gikunda, Relationship Manager for ABC Bank’s Meru Branch, stated, “Our involvement symbolised our bank’s continued commitment to supporting community institutions and strengthening ties with the people we serve. It also gave us a valuable opportunity to deepen our relationships with the parish leaders and other local stakeholders.”
The Diocese of Meru has been a valued client of ABC Bank for over a decade, maintaining a strong banking relationship that includes fixed deposits. By taking part in the event, ABC Bank aimed to strengthen its long-standing relationship with the Diocese, which is anchored in mutual respect and a shared goal of community development.
