ABC Bank sponsors the Nyali Golf Chairman’s Prize Golf Tournament

On January 25, 2025, ABC Bank joined golf enthusiasts at the Nyali Golf and Country Club to celebrate the Chairman’s Prize Golf Tournament in Nyali, Mombasa. The event, which attracted over 260 golfers and guests, was held in honour of the outgoing Chairman, Mr. Kamami Njoroge, who had just concluded his two-year tenure as the Chairman of the Club.

Represented by the Mombasa Branch team, ABC Bank was a proud co-sponsor of the event, which welcomed both seasoned and first-time golfers. Following the event, Mr. John Kariuki, Branch Manager of the Mombasa Branch, expressed the bank’s pride in supporting the tournament and strengthening its relationship with the Nyali golfing community, stating, “The Chairman’s Golf Tournament was a resounding success. Beyond the excitement of the game, it was a fantastic opportunity for our team to foster meaningful relationships and showcase our banking and bancassurance products.”

In recognition of Mr. Njoroge’s leadership, ABC Bank contributed Ksh 200,000, which Mr. Kariuki presented to Mr. Njoroge during the evening celebrations on behalf of the bank.

Over the past five years, ABC Bank has sponsored several Nyali Golf and Country Club tournaments, reflecting our ongoing commitment to building strong networks, celebrating its clients’ success, and supporting community initiatives that have a meaningful impact.
