ABC Bank proudly participated in the 11th edition of the CHAMA Conference & MSMEs Trade Expo, held in Mombasa, and hosted by our long-standing partner and client, Bandari DT Sacco. The event brought together over 1,800 delegates, including chamas, MSMEs, cooperatives, financial institutions, and policymakers, under the theme “Driving Growth, Profitability, and Sustainability in Turbulent Macro-economic Times.”
During the expo, the ABC Bank team interacted with attendees, including MSMEs, chamas, and financial sector players, to showcase our solutions and explore ways to support grassroots financial empowerment.
Reflecting on the experience, Mr. Ichaba ABC Bank Senior Manager, Payment Services & Partnerships said, “The event was a great success with over 1,800 people in attendance. What stood out for me was this: the future of banking is in youth and tech. Financial institutions, SACCOs included, need to build solutions that resonate with younger generations. It’s the ultimate succession plan.”
