Inua Biashara Day & Virtual SME Bank Tradeshow – 25th June

ABC Bank participated in the virtual Inua Biashara Day organized by Kenya Bankers Association held on Friday, 25th June 2021. The event was aimed at recognizing and celebrating the SME sector for their immeasurable impact and resilience despite being gravely affected by the economic fall-out from the coronavirus pandemic which has been worsened by the lockdown measures.

The event set the stage for the industry to mark the International Day of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises which is scheduled to take place on 27th June 2021.

The Bank also participated in the virtual SME Bank Tradeshow event organized by KBA where member banks through the Tradeshow will virtually exhibited their services and products. The Tradeshow also allowed us to interact with potential or existing customers virtually where over 100 visitors visted our virtual booth and interacted with our representatives.

The event drew participation from representatives from the Government, Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM), and MSMEs.

The events were as follows:
Tue, 22nd June 10:00am to 11:30am – Blended Finance and the Green Economy Workshop
Thur, 24th June 10:00am to 11:30am – SME Finance Virtual Tradeshow Opening Ceremony
Thur to Sat, 24th to 26th June 9:00am to 3:00pm – Virtual Tradeshow
