Saturday, 30th June 2018: ABC Bank sponsored the World Sickle Cell Day 5 Km Walk organized by the Community Information Network (CIN) with a donation of Kes 100,000 . The event was held on Saturday 30th June 2018 at Kenya Society of the Blind and ABC Bank staff turned up to show their support.

Community Information Network (CIN) organized the walk to help build awareness on Sickle Cell Disease in Kenya and supporting those who are affected. World Sickle Cell Day is celebrated annually on 19th June every year.
