ABC Bank sponsors Destiny Shapers’ Education project – 27th October

ABC Bank sponsored Destiny Shapers, a Community Based Organization based in Korogocho, Nairobi, during a cocktail fundraiser held on 27th October which was aimed at raising funds for the purchase land to build extra classrooms for the children supported by the programme.

The Bank sponsored the Destiny Shapers Foundation to a tune of two hundred and fifty thousand Kenya shillings. ABC Bank has been participating in various initiatives in the education sector as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility such as school fees sponsorships, training, mentorship, building of school facilities.

Destiny Shapers Foundation was founded in 2014 and supports vulnerable children by deeding, educating, empowering and mentoring them. They initially started by running a feeding programme for the children. Later on, they enrolled them for their Basic Education program and the number of children enrolled has been growing ever since creating the need for a bigger facility.
